The farm looks to be spooky productive in October. Turnips, beets, carrots, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, cabbage, salad greens, and peas will all make their way to local pantries, shelters, and meal programs. There will be plenty of harvesting, washing produce, and, as always, weeding, to go around. As the days start to turn cool, we will be cleaning up the fields, turning them over, and planting down some wonderful cover crops. We will be happy to have volunteers from 8AM-12PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. MWF will be primarily harvesting and washing. Saturdays will be more focused on farm upkeep--whatever that may entail.
